Hello,
I hope you can help me please. can you install a NVMe SSD in a Lenovo - Legion Tower 5 AMD Gaming Desktop? I've never seen this kind of long memory-stick looking drive- the SSDs I've heard of look more square..... Or are the regular square (?)
I have this computer, to be exact: https://www.bestbuy.com/site/lenovo...d-1tb-hdd-raven-black/6501812.p?skuId=6501812. (the model number for my PC is 90RB002AUS)
My question is (1) can you install a NVMe SSD in one of these? (2) Can you recommend a good video, by chance, that shows how to do it?
I appreciate it.

SSD come in many sizes, the squares came first and are being replaced by the sticks which are generally a lot faster.

Up to five drives, 2x 3.5" HDD + 1x 2.5'' HDD + 2x M.2 SSD
• 3.5" HDD up to 2TB
• 2.5" HDD up to 1TB
• M.2 SSD up to 1TB

(1) can you install a NVMe SSD in one of these?
yes. M.2 = nvme.

So you can install one more as according to specs, you already have one installed
256GB SSD M.2 2280 PCIe® 3.0 NVMe® + 1TB HDD 7200rpm 3.5"

as for a video, most of the ones I find mention ssd instead. The square ones.

Are you just adding another or plan to replace the one you have now?

if just putting 2nd in as extra storage, all you probably need to do is watch a video on how to mount drive

and then format it so windows can see it.

I don't know what your board looks like. On my X570, the 2nd slot is under my GPU and I would need to remove that to be able to access the slot and put the 2nd drive in. Seems yours is the same:

T5 has TWO m.2 SSD slots. The first one is right between the GPU and CPU, and it even has a nice little heatsink included.
The second (empty!) m.2 slot is indeed under the GPU, but keep in mind that there are no "warranty void if removed" stickers anywhere in the system.
You can freely remove the GPU to add the extra SSD to your system as long as you don't actually break anything. The GPU anti-sag bracket has 2 or 3 screws that mount the GPU to the case, and the PCIe slot also has the typical locking mechanism on it which is annoying to unlock as the GPU backplate is so thick (or rather, elevated from the PCB) blocking your fingers from properly pressing on it.
