Building a gaming PC in an area with iffy power - any UPS advice?

Hi all,

I'm building my first gaming PC. I live in a basement that was 'finished' by the previous owners - but we're finding out more and more that their electrical installation was pretty unreliable. I've put over $2000 into the parts for the PC, so I'd hate to have a power outage or surge fry my new components.

What UPS would you recommend to pair with an 8 5 0W PSU? When all of my parts are added up on Pcpartpicker, the estimated wattage is 6 3 3W. But I'm still having a hard time finding info on what UPS wattage I actually need.

It has a 1000W capacity, it's a true sine wave UPS, and it has a 3 year warranty including the battery and connected equipment.
