Bluetooth headset

Hi all,

I have an old Corsair headset which runs from a USB dongle. It's dying so want a new headset.

I was going to get another 2.4Ghz dongle set, but want to get a good BT headset so I can use it with both PC and mobile.

I got a couple of BT headsets and the sound is fine, but the mic is always terrible in Win10 - I think it is down to the codec that is used and Win10 using it as a hands-free kit and setting the mic quality to 1 Channel 16-bit Telephone, which is awful.

Does anyone use a BT headset and get the full CD quality or better on the mic? It is driving me nuts!

If you really want to have a BT headset, you should at least get a seperate mic to use like a Yeti or something imo.

Yeah thought about that, but losing a USB port if I do that. All compromises...
