Bendy and the ink machine

Just wondering if anyone has done this i am stuck in chapter 2 and in the music room , you have to play 2 certain notes on a piano , 2 on a violin and 1 on a cello.
The problem is that even if you dont move the mouse pointer and just press the E key the instruments never play the say note 2 times.
I looked at a youtube video and the video showed the cursor pointer as a small dot but on my game it is a circle and i cant find a way to change it.

its not always the same notes, from what I can find it is randomised and different each play through.

Did you follow steps to get the instruments required?

That might explain why it only plays the same note twice.

Hi i know what order to play the instruments and as i say i can get the piano to do the same note twice which i have seen happen in the videos

I finally figured it out , out of the tape machines tell you what order to play the instruments and you have a time limit to do it , if you fail you have to go back to the tape and it gives you a new instrument laying order.

I wont do a spoiler but their is something else you need to do before playing the instruments.

The game is currently free on epic.

What I meant was the order isn't always the same. So for some orders, the piano lets you play it twice, in others it may not.

Cool, epic has turned me on to a bunch of good games. though typically all the games they give away that i would play i already have. I still need to play a plague tale, they gave away that a good year or more ago.

They even gave away 2 of my favs, dungeons of nahuelbeuk and midnight suns, though no dlc,but both can be grabbed with everything on sale for just over 10 dollars. I highly recommend both.
