Are you talking about combat? Did you play Minecraft before the combat update? Before the combat update. I almost never died and played for months on a hardcore game before finally getting knocked off of a ledge in the Nether and falling into lava. However, one reason I stopped playing was the combat update. Suddenly I was terrible at it. I was constantly running out of stamina. To be fair, I've only played it a handful of times since that update, and I probably would have gotten a little better, but I felt like it changed the game too much for me.

Yeah, mostly the combat, though a lot of the worlds that were generated were amplified and I took a lot of falling damage as well.

I did play before the combat update and it's definitely harder now. In Blightfall I also avoid combat as much as I can. I did get end-game level armour by pure luck from a loot bag which has helped a ton in keeping me alive, but even then I avoid combat as much as possible. I've probably missed a lot of good loot because I'm too scared of running into enemies.

Can you make a major mistake when naming your game and still be successful? Apparently so. Schedule 1 is not actually what the game is named. The game is named Schedule I (the Roman numeral for 1).

Well, a Google search of "Schedule I" and "Schedule 1" doesn't seem to care. With a "Schedule I" search, the link to the game on Steam is the first result. With a "Schedule 1" search, the link to the game on Steam is the second result (2024 Schedule 1 (Form 1040) is the first in case you're curious).

That tells me there probably isn't a lot of confusion among people looking for the game.

Believe it or not, this has actually changed since yesterday when I was searching for stuff. Yesterday, if I used the numeral, all I got were TikTok videos and government listings.

But the problem isn't with finding the game itself. The problem is when you are looking for something more complicated, like figuring something out in the game.

Maybe it's we have different search profiles that Google considers.

You mean something like "How do I get the door in the alley unlocked" or something? I can't not get any Schedule I related pages with any kind of search that includes either phrasing of the title, so I'm not sure what you mean.

Just give it up already. It wasn't like this when I was searching, but it is now. Something has been updated on Google's side. I should have checked again before I posted.

We had some drama on the forums and it is never fun to see people leave because of it. I hope stuff cool down and that both will come back. These things happen unfortunately.

Googles results are based on your location/search history/profile. So someone who isn't in the USA isn't going to get a schedule 1 form, I just get offered the game regardless of if I search Schedule 1 or Schedule I in quotes.

Its hardly Googles fault, most of the videos titles and articles also have the wrong name. It just shows the results it finds. Now that it does link them shows potential human intervention linking them together in results. I have no idea how Google does it. Undoubtedly something actively has to do this or no links would ever be formed.
