3060ti vs 3060 12gb which card to buy

Hi I am buying a new gpu over Christmas.

Is the 3060ti worth the extra money over 3060 12gb?

I have been reading the reviews but still unsure about how much better the 3060ti is. The 3060ti is 700 the 306012gb 580

If you want it in numbers on average over a wider variety of games.

TPU over 23 games has the 3060Ti as 130% of a 3060.

Toms hardware over 13 games has the 3060Ti around 20% faster

At Techspot over 14 games about 25% faster

So if we split the difference and say a 3060TI is a 3060 + 25% then the 3060Ti is a better value as well in this case.

The 3060 has more VRAM but in reality 12GB will never be used. By the time you raise settings enough to use that much VRAM the frame rate will be so bad you'll want to lower the settings anyway.

Right I will bite the bullet and get the 3060ti, going for the zotac gaming gpu 2fan I really like the logo think look great In the system

Seems a bit louder than other options and it doesnt have fan stop.

Having said it it wont lack any performance over other choices and if noise doesn't worry you too much then go for it.
