    Mother Board and ssd

Not sure about the first question, but with the capacity of SSD's in the terabytes I am not sure why you would need that model any more. I have run both a hybrid drive and a straight ssd drive and the SSD in my case is just faster. Additionally, there are no moving parts in a SSD so the chances...

    Should I cancel my order??

That is a pretty cool rig. It is kind of odd that the RAM speed is that low in comparison to the other components. I would second the sentiments of DXChase. Lucky kid.

Question Asus VZ239H-W monitor acting very strangely

My daughter and I just built her first gaming rig together and all seemed well with the installation of Windows until the GPU drivers installed. Then her Asus monitor refused to pick up the signal unless another monitor was plugged in as well. So just to clarify, it works fine as a second...

    Budget gaming pc

I have a few suggestions: I have built 3 desktops for myself and my kids over the last few years (several prior to that for my place of work) and we have had great performance and reliability from Ryzen 7 processors. I have also heard great things about the Ryzen 5 so a budget friendly version...

    Budget gaming pc

From my experience it is hard to beat AMD in price/performance. My only other device would be don't skimp on the motherboard. Go Asus or MSI if you can manage it and definitely stay away from a traditional HDD. SSD's are worth the money for performance and reliability.

I found out another setting that really helped my son's rig jump in FPS. His 32GB ofRAM was only running at 2133MHz instead of the DRAM specs of 3000MHz. I went into the BIOs and change the settings to the DCOP profile (XMP on most BIOs) and it immediately jumped 50-100 FPS. He is now getting...

Question bad fps under preforming pc

Not sure it this will help, but my son and I recently found out that Windows will screw with your monitor refresh rate which then has some interesting effect on your GPU. We went to the monitor settings in Windows and set the refresh rate to 144Hz (make sure you monitors are capable of that...

Question High Powered Rig but poor performance in League of Legends

My son and I have been building his gaming rig over the last couple of years. The game he takes most seriously is League of Legends and it is without a doubt the most frustrating when it comes to FPS. His current build it s Asus TUF 570+MB with a AMD Ryzen 7 1700 processor, 32GB of DRAM 3000MHz...
