What was the first video game you remember playing?

Jupiter Lander on the Vic 20! View: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PnYmwi-ItOc ...and then when i reached first grade, probably hundreds of hours of The Oregon Trail. The school gave out library passes to use the computers on lunch break if you got an A for a test. It was very motivational...

Giveaway {Winner Announced!} Win the ZOTAC GAMING GeForce RTX 2070 SUPER Twin Fan!

Playing the Oculus Quest for the cardio benefit for at least a half hour, reading at least 2 hours, and only gaming after i've done these. I'm cutting my consumption of movies or tv to 1 hour/movie a day. Also glad to hear more live music from livingrooms than i thought i'd ever hear in my lifetime.

Where's the PAX East Coverage @PCG (or anywhere else?)

    Old school ARPG

I can't say for sure yet, and it's been in development hell... but Wolcen might be what you're missing. The skilltrees are certainly well considered, the loot pool is always growing, and the graphics are solid. I bought it years ago and it seems like this might finally be the year it gets a...

    Red Dead 2 - Hype or Hyper-great?

The SP portion (the part i bought it for) is fantastic, long, slow at times but exciting at others. There's no game in the world that has a greater polish or talent to the actors. You can tell Rockstar knows their strengths, but you can also tell they're a little blind to their weaknesses...

    SUPER HOT

It's one game that the Oculus Quest Reddit is always evangelical about too -- of course, it helps that the system ships with a demo of it installed. Was a day 1 purchase for me, even after playing the pancake version obsessively for about a year. VR absolutely changes this game, and highlights...

Help, I can't finish RPGs anymore

Help, I can't finish RPGs anymore

That seems like punishing yourself for making bad purchases to me... or maybe in another light, like you are trying to be as budget conscious as possible. I could never force myself to play something i'm not actually enjoying to completion. If somehow i miss the refund window on a terrible...

Help, I can't finish RPGs anymore

Tom, i think RPGs have the highest requirements to keep a person interested of all the genres. Of course everything here is just opinion, but personally there's so much that i ask of an rpg to keep playing it -- there has to be a character i can resonate with, a world that makes sense, is...
