Sometimes when I start up my pc, it will show the sign in screen, but nothing shows up. It just shows the the background picture. I can move the mouse around, and click but nothing happens, so I have to hold the power button, and restart my pc.
Ugh, I just realized the clicking sound is coming from the ups my pc is plugged into. I feel like an idiot. It's directly underneath my pc, so I thought it was coming from my pc. That's a relief. Thank you for all your advice though

I hear a clicking noise coming from my pc once like every hour or two even when the pc is shut off. From my understanding an ssd doesn't have any moving parts so it can't be that. If I had an hdd, than I'd assume that's what it was. What do you think the sound is? Sorry, I'm not very pc savvy.
When I go to steam and click play on skyrim. It tells me that steam was unable to sync my saves with the steam cloud. I click play anyway. I can see that the skyrim on the taskbar has an orange bar underneath it. When I click on it, it opens for a split second then close.

I left my pc on for a couple of hours. It was on steam if that matters. Well, my monitor whent into sleep mode a little bit ago, then my pc just went into sleep mode. Turned it back on, and it's working fine.
