Thanks for all the advice! Sorry the super late reply.
I received my replacement fan, and in a very lovely torn and taped over bubble mailer was my chipped and filthy replacement fan. Tottaly awesome!
Cleaned it up and had a repair guy take care of the installation for me cuz I cannot remove...
the 3 fan deepcool AIO is roof mounted, so I probably do have to take it out.. or hopefully I won't yank around the cables too much to just move it enough to fiddle with the cables and unscrew the fan. But man, what a beefy card you got there! I guess if they keep going bigger, I definitely...
Well, I had finally went through with getting a fancy new gaming PC a while back. I went with a custom on ibuypower, so I only had certain options available. However there were a lot of things I didn't know about or consider when it came to how much has changed since I got my last PC 10 years...
well the new SATA cable is having it make different noises, but the occasional tinkley chime is still present. it stops for a while, happens twice, then goes back to those 10 second intervals. i do think this is an improvement though, since the regular constant running and crinkly noises are lot...
i had another program which im p sure said drive health is great, i might try that different sata cable cuz the one im using is a lil weird and i yoinked it from some old office PC, so that'd probably be a good start. of course i noticed the nice fancy new spare sata cables AFTER i put it in...
hmm this was set to the 20 min default, and after lowering it, it's still going. im not sure what might be keeping it active software side now if anything. I know win11 has a lot of things to keep apps "always active" in the bg, but i disabled most of those and none of them come from my HDD...
Hello again. So I have a noisy yet new secondary HDD. On my last computer, it made a startup sound and really only made noise when I opened the D: drive in file explorer, or emptied my recycle bin.
In my new PC, it is on all the time thus making noises all the time. I was wondering if there is a...
Ah that makes sense then. Would exporting the registry in the registry editor help back that up? Or if that gets a problem I probably won't even be able to reach it huh. Likely a silly question.
Hmm.. Concerning though if that is what I'm hearing and if it wasn't there before.
EDIT: I checked...

I don't know if it's what is called coil whine or not, and it isn't too loud, but I can't remember If I heard the noise prior to the power outages.
And is that really true about the UPS vs Surge protectors? I mean It's in the name and...
Hello again. I'm trying to do some research on a lot related to power, and I seem to be getting a lot of different ideas on the matter.
Power outages due to wind and rain: Can this kill a PC connected to the wall? I have a surge protector, but I'm now learning they apparently only have 1 or 2...
didn't seem to show me much else:
probably is that pump which is on the top of the pc. when fan control was turning off and on my fans during setup, i think it was actually the ones on the bottom of the case making the most noise (at the 1k rpm) probably due to being on the floor? so if thats...
Goodnight!
I disabled AVG preventing fan control from doing its thing. It only allows me to control 2 fans after the test, the ones on the bottom of the case (1k rpm) and the 3000k rpm one, which doesn't seem to be effected at all with the slider, but when i was fiddling with it the light on...
There's my specs; I have a driver for the RGB lian li fans and they say its goin about 600-700RPM. I checked the specs website for the processor cooling (deepcool) and says it only hits about500-2250. I don't think it has a dedicated driver to fiddle with to play with speeds itself, just the RGB...
One fan shows in BIOS running 3096 rpm?
I just got a new PC; was prebuilt so im assuming this should've shown up in the QA. I haven't gotten a new PC for 9 years so pardon not knowing new parts.
i technically see 10 seperate fans spinning in there. 3 on the bottom, 3 on the side, and 3 on top...
I wrote a super lengthy post that kept getting caught by the spam filter so hopefully just a small thing written in 5 minutes and not 2 hours will actually post.
What GPU/CPU should I get? budget around 1.5k USD- and I may either use that to get a fully new custom built off a building website...
