I wrote a super lengthy post that kept getting caught by the spam filter so hopefully just a small thing written in 5 minutes and not 2 hours will actually post.
What GPU/CPU should I get? budget around 1.5k USD- and I may either use that to get a fully new custom built off a building website (suggested sites welcome) because I've had my current one for 8+ years, on win7 still, and will need to get a new install for win10 anyway too (and I can hardly figure out how to do that and would like to keep 7 alongside it)
Upgrading because i need to upgrade the OS, youtube and other websites tend to be a lot slower likely because they demand more memory and browsers wont update on 7 anymore, but also because I would like to be able to even RUN newer OSs and new games, art programs, and VR at some point. (I noticed some things say VR ready.. does that mean its required to run VR at all or its just an indicator of performance?)
Current specs: AMD Radeon R7 200 series/AMD FX 6300
I don't play super high end 4k graphic games and I won't be upset if I have to get my lag-free FPS at mid-low settings. Thanks for any tips!
