    PC = Gunpla. you can repaint remodel, lining the panel, weathering, change parts as you like and many more. Laptop = Action Figure. you can't do a lot maybe you can add some line and repaint a bit. IMHO.

    No it wont affected your game experience, try using 64bit so your windows can read your real ram caps.
