Just wondering how your getting on with satisfactory ... have you progressed to the ficsonium method of making nuke power yet.

I am wondering whats going on at coffee stain studios.

Jace left a long time back and said on a video he was leaving because projects he was working on were not going in the direction he expected.
Snutt left earlier this year because he went for a health check cos he said he felt rubbish ... he did not realise he was heading for a burn out.
The company has recruited some new people but apart from a few cosmetic changes their has not really been any new things to make for over 7 months.
I think that either they have run out of ideas or are working on something they dont want to tell us about.

Personally, I was surprised that they came out with any additional updates for Satisfactory. Unless they are working on a new map with new toys like Factorio did, then they need to just move on to their next project.

I'm still on my break from Satisfactory. The plan is to get back to working on my world in August.

The Zed Clampet game is hard to play, especially when main character goes on week long stretches of not sleeping and becomes irrational and does things it should know better than to try.
Needs more instructions, and a debug menu

Satisfactory update ... Today i received an internal message on their Q and A forum it seems like somebody has reported me for giving out inaccurate problem solving solutions , a small group have been targeting me for about the last 10 days . One person even let rip at me on 4 postings this morning in less than ten minutes so it was obvious what he was doing. It is the same group of players who succeeded in getting me banned from satisfactory discussions on steam. I have given the company a list of names but they have not responded to me.

The upshot of it is that if i give any information that some think is misleading i am out ..... so it seems like i can no longer take part in any threads .... just in case somebody disagrees with something i say.

Like me, you tend to wander off-topic a bit when people ask questions. Maybe that's what the problem is?

Yes i admit that sometimes i do that but that does not mean it is ok for somebody to let rip at me on 4 postings in less than 10 minutes .. he must be a fast typer and decided to go for me as soon as he logged in

I think this forum can only get away with being so relaxed because of its small user base (which generally behaves itself pretty well). It wouldn't work if there were more (unruly) users, it would be far too chaotic.

I think this forum can only get away with being so relaxed because of its small user base (which generally behaves itself pretty well). It wouldn't work if there were more (unruly) users, it would be far too chaotic.

Most of the trouble makers don't get past the spam filters, so there is that. Without the spam filter we would have a much more lively site... of 1 post threads. That isn't alive, its just active. We don't have any power crazy moderators here, so that is part of it. Some places have mods that want to change how people think.

I like slow forums, you can generally keep up with the front page on them. I just get lost in the crowd on big ones. Fine by me, I don't want to stand out but there is a fine line.
