Question Xbox account on new PC

Hi. Brought a pc for my son for Christmas will he be able to get his account from xbox series x to tye pc on games, call of duty modern warfare II 2022 and dead by daylight??

I don't think that's correct. There will be some Microsoft games that will be playable across both but games like Call of Duty I don't think will be.

Thank you. I'm not fussed if I have to buy the game again it's just I don't want him to loose his things on them
