Welcome to the forums, newcomer!

If you have access to an optical drive(in order to install the games off of), then yes you can run the games in Windows 10. You just need to run the executable in compatibility mode, i.e, Right click executable>Properties>Compatibility tab>Windows x(where X denotes the OS that the game was meant to be installed on).

Awesome!!
thank you so much just 2 additional question: when i change the compatibility mode would it stay that way or would i have to change it every time i wanted to open the game? and would changing the compatibility affect all of the other games/apps i have downloaded or would it only be the one that i changed?

Welcome to the forum :)

It will stay that way for that game. It might be simplest to use a desktop icon for each game, and make the compatibility change there—that's what I've done for old games.

would changing the compatibility affect all of the other games/apps
No, just the one you applied it to.

I advise you to clone the discs to your hard drive, as it's way too easy to lose loose floppies or CDs, or for them to get damaged. Ages since I've done it, but if I recall correctly I used WinImage:

Hello! The good news is that you should be able to run those older PC games like Halo: Combat Evolved, Halo 2, and Tomb Raider 1-3 on your 2022 Windows 10 gaming PC. Windows 10 is designed to be backward compatible with many older Windows games. Regards

Their is one problem you may encounter that nobody has mentioned , i have a lot of old games on disc i can no longer use and this is the reason why.

In the olden days when you put a disc into your pc for the first time you had to activate the game before using it , this meant typing the key code and your email address.

Now fast forward a few years and you buy a new pc , you put a previously used game into the new pc and try to register it ...... you then get the infamous message ..... this code and email address is already in use .....
Of course it is cos you did it.

The only option you have is to look for the game at a silly price on steam and buy it again.
