The system is powered with 1660 but will RTX 2060 fit?

GTX 1660 = 229 mm x 111 mm x 35 mm

Yeah, it will probably fit, but it also kind of depends on the model you get. Is your current card a single fan or dual fan?

I may lose warranty if I open the case.

Then you should contact HP directly and confirm the terms of the warranty if you can't find out for yourself from their documentation.

If you replace the GPU you're going to have to open the case sooner or later, right? So you will want to know that either way.....

Unless this this an all in one PC or a laptop part of maintenance is opening it and cleaning it. Also, standard upgrades like adding hard drives and installing additional RAM can only be done by opening the case. I cannot fathom any non leased PC having a warranty that precludes opening the case.
That said, there is no harm in checking
