I don't think WoW has much influence anymore. Its a 20 year old game, there were plenty of wow killers than came and went but MMORPG isn't really a thriving genre anymore. There are lots of them but are any of them any good?

I have played it in the past, way in the past (Wrath of the Lich King) but haven't touched it in a while, though I have got the overwhelming urge to rekindle some interest in it and see where things have got to. Maybe I just have an MMO-RPG itch that needs scratching in general.

Oh, that's not good! Have you tried soaking in white vinegar? That will help dissolve the stick-um sometimes.

I can't play on my current PC but when i buy a new one i'm definitely going to get back into it, albeit on a Starter (or whatever it's called these days) account. May grab a month here or there during the summer perhaps. Many fond memories of that game and the universe so would just be nice to dip back in every now and then- listen to the music and roam Mulgore The self-imposed challenge there is going to be to squeeze as much game as possible out of the free experience and i'm all about those kinds of challenges ;P

I dont think there is too legit of a source for how many players are playing blizzard games. As for world of warcraft i have never played it and had no interest too.

I never got into it -- my connection was too slow back in the day for online multiplayer, let alone MMOs.
