I'm hoping for a good discount on Ghost of Tsushima, most realistically to happen at the Spring Sale. Third-Person Shooter Fest I would not mind dipping in, it's been a while since I played a good one. Fishing Fest maybe, gets a nice discount on Dave The Diver, that game looks relaxing.

Still really trying to not buy quite as much this year, so I can't say I'm looking forward to any of the sales. I'll absolutely will be looking through them, but if any of them are going to get me, it'll probably be either the wargames fest or the Summer/Winter sales with stuff on my wishlist.

Last year I spent (I think) around $450, this year I'm currently at: $38.03

That said, I'm at least doing better playing what I've bought, so that's a win.

Mainly just the seasonal and Next Fests. The seasonal sale fests usually puts the majority of the catalogue on sale, so it's a larger portion of games to choose from than specific genre sales. However, I would assume that the genre sales may offer deeper discounts on specific games compared to seasonal sales, but I could be wrong.

Mainly excited for Spring sale because my birthday lands in between the dates, so I may finally get myself something. Also, I love the Next fests as I always find a couple of demos to try out.

I can recommend the first one as I remember enjoying the puzzles. I also remember it for its spooky atmosphere, so if you also like something like that with a puzzle theme, it might be up your alley.

I played Obduction in January and I really liked it. That's why I'm interested in the remakes, because they look pretty good.

I have just tried Firmament and... I'm not liking it so much. You have to use a sort of laser pointer to interact with everything. So instead of interacting directly with something you have to interact with something else as well. This was the worst aspect of Obduction but now as the main part of gameplay.... It probably feels better in VR but with a mouse and keyboard it's become quite annoying very quickly...

A more old school take like Shivers might be a good idea.

I just put my 33rd game on my wish list, and I consider that full! (I need to start pumping it up, though. Retirement is hopefully only a year or three away. Time! SO MUCH TIME!!)

I'm playing some big games now and have Elden Ring bought and ready to play, too. It's hard to tell when I'll be ready for more. Plus, little sales keep showing up out of the blue. Solium Infernum is on sale right now because it's part of something called the Fellow Traveler Hits You Missed Bundle.

As I suppose would be expected, I'm at least modestly excited about all of them except for the sokoban one, but I especially like the Next Fests. Another one I'm not particularly excited for is the city builder and colony sim one. I think I've had just about enough of those games.

As for wishlists, mine keeps getting smaller, as I delete stuff every time I look through it. I still have 696 games on it, though. Almost a quarter of them are unreleased.

I really want to see Espiocracy. It looks kind of like eu4 from the trailer, but I could always be wrong.
That game doesn't have a release date yet, but I bet that you'll find lots of similar games on sale during the upcoming Steam Political Sim Fest that's going on September 8th -15th. I looked that game up and it does look a lot like EU4, so if you're into those kinds of games then keep an eye out for that upcoming sale.
