Raphael might be charismatic from one angle, but his arrogance and regular scheming made me despise every interaction with him. I wasn't ready to trust him anytime in my playthrough as he was always dangling a deal or a threat over my head. I’d much rather give him a solid boot and watch him fly just as far!

I have not played enough of BG3 to make an assessment. I have 80 hours in, but I started over 4 times so I haven't gotten very far.

I'm 75 hours in, but I really wouldn't know the most annoying character. You've got a good number of characters you can take along, so anyone that seems annoying guards the campsite.
Edit: Also, if Raphael is somebody you can recruit, then that's a spoiler. He sure doesn't seem recruitable to me.
