What is the best steering wheel and pedals for gaming on PC?

Hello,

I’m new here, but I was recommended to use the PC Gamers online forum to ask experts and fellow gamers about the best gaming accessories and equipment – so here I am giving it a try!

I have a few games on my Steam account that I’d like to use a steering wheel and pedals for, including Euro Truck Simulator 2 and The Crew 2. However, I’m unsure about which brand and product is the best.

I’ve tried to Google my way through a few different articles and reviews, but I find there are mixed opinions on what works and what doesn’t, and I’m especially confused by the fact that some articles are sponsored – making it hard to get an honest opinion.

However, two brands stand out the most: Thrustmaster and Logitech.

Based on my research, the "Logitech G29 Driving Force" and the "Thrustmaster T300RS GT" seem to be among the best models. Is that correct? I’ve found the Logitech wheel on this webshop, but I’m unsure whether I should choose the PlayStation or Xbox version, since it’s for PC: https://gamefront.dk/products/logitech-g29-driving-force-rat-og-pedaler-ps3-ps3.

I’ve also found the Thrustmaster model at a local electronics store, but it seems quite expensive compared to the Logitech model. Here’s an example: https://www.elgiganten.dk/product/g...ustmaster-t300-rs-gte-rat-pedaler/THRT300RSGT.

I also found a cheaper alternative to Thrustmaster here: https://gamefront.dk/products/thrustmaster-t128-pack-racersaet-simulation-ps4-ps5, and here: https://www.fcomputer.dk/thrustmaster-ferrari-t80-488-gtb-edition-rat-og-pedalsaet-kabling-4160672. Which is the best?

Can it really be true that there is such a large price difference, with Thrustmaster being so much more expensive? I’m not planning to play professionally or anything like that, just casually for the above-mentioned game titles.

Thanks in advance!

Theres an article from PCG here. Im not sure we have many racing enthusiast members here, but I could be wrong yet :)
Myself, I'm more of an "enjoyer" rather than an "enthusiast". I've thought several times about getting a wheel, but haven't done it. Maybe the next time they release a Forza Horizon (maybe this autumn?) I'll get one, but the fact that I like Forza Horizon better than Assetto pretty much locks me in as an enjoyer, I guess.

I was pretty sure you didnt have a wheel and pedals set up, should have worded it differently.
