Weird thing I noticed on Steam...

Currently, I keep copies of all the X-Wing games installed on my pc just in case I get a hankering for some classic SW action. Well, last night I noticed something weird. Steam had queued up updates for both X-Wing and TIE Fighter. I looked up the info on the updates and all it says is that that offer support for Mac 64-bit machines and fixes for unexplained Windows issues. Am I the only person that finds it weird and exciting that someone/anyone is still supporting some of the foundational games of our joint hobby?
 
well, during this time you can see that many are reconsructing the past.
Like a lot of recently restored games.
like Mafia and all this definitive edition projects.
