I am having some trouble with a bios setting I believe. I have an Asus Z370-a ii motherboard as in the title. I did a bios update to the latest bios version via the web. I have a TPM chip in my PC and it is recognized by PC Health Check. The only issue in PC Health Check is "This PC must support Secure Boot." For the life of me I cannot figure this out, googling it showed my settings were correct, and I even went back and forth on some to see if it would work. Anyone with the same motherboard or similar have this issue and get it resolved so they could install Win 11?

Only thought I have is maybe the C drive is formatted as MBR and would need to be converted to GPT to let you turn on Secure Boot.

can you right click start
choose disk management
open the top and bottom section of following screen.
take a screenshot and upload to an image sharing website like Imgur
show link here.

Win 11 doesn't really care about Secure Boot or I would have had to turn it on 11 months ago.

could be because CSM is set to AUTO and should be set to Disabled, that might be it?

  1. Press "Del" when the ASUS or ROG logo appears to enter the BIOS.
  2. Go to Advanced\AMD fTPM configuration page and switch "TPM Device Selection" option to "Firmware TPM".
  3. Press F10 to save changes & reboot.
