Damn right. Mods makes a lot of games better. its practically free support from the public. Whereas devs do it mostly for the money the modders do it out of passion and it shows especially when it addresses issues that developers couldn't be bothered to fix. Bethesda i'm looking at you.
Bethesda games have the most flexibility when it comes to modding. You can literally making your own worldspace with quests, port anything from a different game over (while understanding the legalities of it), create brand new animations, etc. While I do understand that the role play aspect of the game has been diminished but you can still sink a lot of time into the game.
