Looking into finally switching over to pc gaming (currently on Xbox).I’m not overly educated on computers, but after my research this seems like a pretty solid pre-build. Thoughts?
• Cooler Master Hyper 212 Black Edition RGB Cooler
• B550 Motherboard
• 500W EVGA Power Supply
500 W will work with a 5600X, likely for around the length of the warranty on that PSU500w psu for a 3060 Ti when the recommended power supply for that card is 650w, no name motherboard and a case with horrible airflow. You can do much better for $1600 if you were to build it yourself or order the components and have a local mom & pops PC / laptop repair shop build it for you for a small fee.
PSU is likely not the greatest, certainly a lower end EVGA 500w model with a 3 year or so warranty. Nothing inherently wrong with B550 for any build and the 5600X is a good gaming chip. 3060Ti is strong. Case looks like it doesnt have much ventilation so its going to get warm, which also effects longevity. The headline parts are good, but the case, power and storage are below average. Overall its not terrible.
Alternately you can build something stronger and more durable for about the same money yourself with a little research.
Threw this together quickly as an example,

This one has a top quality case and PSU and much faster and more storage, not to mention a higher tier GPU. The CPU is negligibly slower but 50 cheaper. Also better, quieter CPU cooler, and decent motherboard..
Intel build with a 12400F or 12600K may be a little cheaper and perform around the same, if youre interested I'm sure I can look into it when I have time or someone else will
What is your monitor resolution and what is your budget? Thanks for the feed back! This definitely has my attention. I am really on the fence between prebuilt and building it out myself. Like I said, I’m not overly confident in my computer building skills but nothing some googling and reading can’t fix. Thanks again!
I was planning on buying a new one, right now I use an old piece of junk. All in I was hoping to keep my budget below $2,250 In need of a mouse and keyboard as well. What is your monitor resolution and what is your budget?
I use a trac ball so I didn't add a mouse to this. But if you switch out the power supply and graphics card with these down below you're looking at a decent gaming rig. Make sure you have a decent headset if you don't have one already.I was planning on buying a new one, right now I use an old piece of junk.
