I played the demo and it was fun and there is a new DLC that was just releasesd, so it does feel like a good time to jump in.

Great deal considering the game only came out in February
I bought it at full price. I don't regret it, but obviously 60% is much nicer. I'd really only recommend that game to already existing fans of Yakuza. It's hilarious, the story is wonderful, and I was very happy to see Majima get his own game, but it does seem like a spin-off fanservice game. The action is very good for a Yakuza game though.

If you don't like ARPGs, here's what I believe is actually the first game in the series, but it's actually a deck building card game

has a demo

Icarus got an insane discount at 90%. I played it when it had a free weekend some months back and it was pretty chill. The building was good, the world looked all right, and the combat was ok if not a bit glitchy at times. Definitely worth it for that low price.

Lol, Borderlands 4 with a 20% discount and the original price is just stupid! I might buy this game when it is on an abyss level of discount at 90-95% or more. Most likely I'll wait until Epic Games gives it out for free, which will happen eventually. Randy Pitchford might be a "magician", but there is nothing magical about that price.

Green Hell on 90% is a historical low, even if I did not personally like it. There was something off with the exploration, but I can't put the finger on it now aka not janky, but weird somehow, I dunno.

Come to think of it, I think my mistake playing it was just rushing too much, so I did not really get to learn all the survival mechanics because I was basically cutting down all the trees by the time the rules got known, lol

Will this be the sale I buy Sniper Elite 4?

The competition is strong, as I've been wanting to play the Subnautica sequel ever since I finished the first game.

There's also this unique game that PCGamer recently had an article about and which is on sale for only a couple of bucks:

I didn't have any plans for Christmas presents yet, so maybe I can just get all three of them... and then try to find the time to actually play them.

The Gold edition of my favorite Ubisoft game is only $7.99 . It's all dumb fun, the hacking isn't very involved but still fun to do, the world is large and offers good exploration, graphics are still very decent for a 2017 game, really at this price you can't go wrong if you like third person open world games.

Detroit Become Human is only $3.99 . It's been growing a cult following in recent years, many people say it's an amazing story heavy game.

Hitman World of Assassination starter pack is only $2.99 which I believe is an all-time historical low, but the standard edition is not, on sale for $27.99. It's all confusing, but the $2.99 starter pack gives you essentially all of Hitman 1 on the updated engine and platform. For those who are unaware, Hitman 1-3 have been consolidated into a single platform known as World of Assassination.

Here's a game with 0 reviews on sale for $0.89. I've had it in my wishlist for a year, it looks pretty decent for a low budget indie game.

One of the most popular early access city builders this year.

Very highly reviewed physics-based puzzle sandbox.

Not initially planning on getting anything, but I might pick-up Roadwarden. I've had my eye on it for probably over a year now and it's frequently on sale and I'm always meaning to pick it up, but now might be the time. I don't intend to play it immediately, but maybe I should move it up my list.

Considering picking up the ultimate edition of this game for $13.99. I generally liked Odyssey and played this one a bit when I had Game Pass. It's okay... it's an Ubisoft game so you already know things will get repetitive after a bit. But for that price, that's like 120+ hours worth of content. If I'm not mistaken @Johnway finished the game not too long ago. It would be a nice time sink for not a lot of money, something easy enough to shut my brain off and enjoy for a few hours at a time.

Another two games I'm considering but not sure if I'll pull the trigger. I really like Arma 2 and 3, creating my own missions was my favorite part about it. This is the next generation of Arma on a totally new engine and more. It has lots of multiplayer game modes with the newest one being a fairly streamlined experience, doesn't get into all of the nitty-gritty of realism as other modes do.

And with Stalker 2... the game isn't really finished yet. I want to play very badly, I enjoyed the 10-15 hours I put into it at launch on Game Pass, but it's still being updated with new content and features. Maybe I'll give it until it hits 2.0. Also, they are working on doing a complete engine overhaul to a newer version of UE5 which they claim will improve performance.

Tempting, but not sure if I'll buy yet.

I was going to recommend Homeworld Emergence but, for whatever reason, it isn't on sale. Full price is just $10, but still...

Others on GOG:
Still my favorite action RPG of all time.

If you want to brush up on Divinity lore before Divinity shows up.

If you want to brush up on Divinity lore but want an action RPG.

The original classic Dragon's Dogma

I have my eye on this game periodically when it pops up and I may just do it finally for $1.99

Was just about to buy this on your recommendation and then noticed I already owned it on GoG. 💀
