Wind howling, trees creaking, footsteps nearby? Perhaps you are hearing someone banging on a door in the distance or the sound of a wolf howling. A person dragging a giant ax behind him? Bugs crawling on the floor or perhaps a banshee is screaming its lungs out in front of you?
