Question Sound louder on the right compared to left hs65

For some reason randomly my hs65 corsair headset is far softer on the left compared to the right. The only way I can remedy this somewhat is if I fiddle with the balance levels in the Microsoft sound settings. But this is not a solution. Is there a reason why this is suddenly a problem?

I've had this in the past with speakers that had a bad connection on the jack.
Try giving it a clean and a wiggle...

I have cleaned and checked the jack but to no avail. I also tested the device on another machine and experienced the same problem. Worried I'm going to have to get a replacement

Ahahaha. I'm quite sure it's not my ear. Tested both cups on individual ears and am quite certain there is an issue. Thanks for the reply
