Silly me needed to add crit damage onto parts list, I went from 22k to 53k now.
Things melt now. Way less struggle. Wonder if that is what mage lacks as well.
She surpassed the mage in weapon numbers, and also on floor 140 of the Slorm temple. its not so bad, enemies are only lvl 79
I did two short runs of the Forge, and it isn't so bad but I still get bored after a while.
Expeditions are meant to supply you with the cuurency needed to enter forge but that currency can also be used to enter the Temple. So I have concentrated on temple but with only 8 more floors left in there, and floor length can range from 5 rooms to up to 10, I am running out of side activities.
You don't know until you start how long a floor might be, and all rooms look the same; an empty space with a group of up to 40 monsters you have to kill as soon as possible or you start to get attention of temple keeper and dungeon starts to fall apart. That generally only happens if you lose track of which way last room was, and backtracking loses you time. A floor only takes a few minutes to run as in most groups there might only be a few monsters that take any time to kill. Right now there are some knights with 2 handed swords that take me time to destroy if one of them is a boss, Most rooms aren't so hard.
There are reasonable reasons to run the temple, as every 10 floors (until 150) you get an item that can give various benefits and allow you to ignore some aspects of your build. For a long time I used one that set my mana regen at 400 meaning I never had to worry about running out of mana in a fight, or so I thought. Almost did against temple keeper itself at 100 which would have been ironic. I have swapped for one now that sets my Crit damage at 400 which is why the DPS grew overnight. I got one today that increases your crit chance but unless it gets easy to find crit damage stat items later, I think I stick to damage.
Another slower gathered reward from temple is it lets you increase the chance of finding pure gear and how good the stats of that gear is
The teal line on this Amulet is a pure stat, they generally way better than you normally get on say the other ones which are just yellow because of my loot filter
Blacksmith can't alter the values of Pure lines, but I can change every other line on them. So I just changed everything else to match what I wanted.
White on above item is just something I had to deal with unless I wanted to spend all my gold rerolling the Epic stats lines to get a better combo - Fire resistance isn't bad, just not a priority.
I am most of the way through collecting mats to pay to improve my chances of finding totally pure items where all 3 or more lines are teal
But once I have that and beat temple keeper at lvl 150, I won't have any excuse not to do forge runs and do the few things I have left to do in there.
Another time waster I had was trying all the different bows, and I am running out of options. Some don't make sense as a non melee build (huntress can be melee) and others rely on having elemental attacks to use the special abilities. I have all the good ones at 100 now, and as I said... its better to just use the originals and not the special Primordial bows... it makes no sense to make the final reward worse than the originals in most cases so far. I get sad when I get to end of levelling process... that goes for character too. Only 4 more levels to 100.
I looked at cost to make one of my items into a legendary earlier, its more than the total gold I have. I still wonder how you make money, or perhaps whether I should have been updating my gear as I played. There is one level of gear above legendary but you don't get that till end game. Purples
Found an answer for two questions:
- How to make money
- What to do with spare legendary items
Sell 2 to answer 1. It feels wrong to sell legendary items but these are spares and in some cases I have a few copies. I kept the best versions - game has two stashes. One for normal items and 1 for an example of each legendary. I don't have them all yet, some tabs are really empty
Frees up bank space for other crap I will end up selling
I was down below 1 million, now back to 1.7 again. I still have more to sell really. I just wanted to clear up my on character stash as it was getting full of spare legendary armours.
