Question should i buy a gpu Used for crypto mining?

I'm i wanted to buy an RX 470, but like 95% of them in my country have been used for crypto mining instead of regular gaming.

should i still go for it? will the performance be as good as a non-mined RX 470?

Its up to you, but I wouldn't pay a lot for it. As you don't know how it was treated or how long it might work for.

What ever you decide i would make sure to replace the colling paste, depending on how the card has been used that paste might have gotten dried upp compleetly.

It's much more a question of longevity rather than performance—will it last 3 months or 3 years?

At the very least, you need proof the card is currently working if you're buying from some random seller.

If it was used for mining, I personally would not go for it. These cards generally tend to die pretty quickly because of how relentlessly they were used.
