I really enjoyed Mark of the Ninja. I also played the demo for Tenchu Z quite a few times.

I really like ninjas and samurai but don't play too many games centered around them... the closest thing I can think of recently was Cyberpunk 2077, where I went for a build where I used almost strictly just my katana. You're able to jump and zip around all over the place, making it almost ninja like... especially with the ability to slow down time, you can kill a whole group of enemies before they even fully realize what's happening.

I enjoyed the remake of Ninja Gaiden Black it is def. worth checking if youre looking for old-school.

There is also a new Shinobi game coming and it looks like the old-school style type too...

Old school wise , i guess its the revenge of shinobi or Shinobi 3 return of the master ninja on the mega drive. have a soft spot for those 2. As for the other ones? they're a bit average.
