My CPU is acting self-sufficient; it is always on 0% to whatever it likes. GPU goes to 50/60 faster than you can say: "Gone in sixty seconds was a great movie!"
All I can do is control the fans, I can't stop the PC from doing whatever it likes with hardware but I can try to keep it cool.

Imagine if CPU needed your permission to do anything. Your PC wouldn't work. There are people out there who don't like it when windows does things they didn't run, and they try to stop it. I am glad I don't have to talk to them here, they only showed up on Tom's.

oh no, anyway... where is that gif

Getting hard to buy anything that isn't a 5080... maybe people will actually buy them if there is no other choices.
Oh, you can get 8gb cards... lol... shame they are almost extinct.

Card getting closer to being installed. So I put its fans in.
Probably last time I see it like this for a while

First product ever cancelled due to being in demand... right... its not that they can use the 16gb elsewhere and make more money off it. Strange to remove the cards from the centre of your range.

Nvidia are denying that they cancelled the cards. What they have done is reduced the available cards down to zero but haven't announced its EOL.

PC finished :D

Advantage to having the RGB on card connected directly to motherboard, I only have one RGB program now and can set them all to exactly same colours.
So now its back to blue.

well, its almost 6 months since this post...
Cores are on 33c
Package on 45c
GPU on 33c
Nvme on 43c

so the differences
CPU cores were 8c cooler in winter
Package was 8c cooler as well in winter
GPU was only 4c cooler in winter
Nvme was 8c cooler as well.

Its not exactly the hottest day today.
Naturally the 5070 TI isn't really canceled. The card is very popular, selling just as well as the 5070 and 5060 models, and that's with it being out of stock most of the time.

Besides the memory crisis and a focus on AI, as you mentioned, Nvidia is making their top priority keeping the manufacturers of pre-built PCs stocked. You can find endless of those. Meanwhile, at Walmart the individual cards are costing $1150 right now, which is BS. BestBuy has them for $850. Newegg has tons of them, but the cheapest is $1050.

Thanks, Gigabyte!

There was a long list of drivers that needed to be updated in the Command Center software. Despite the warning from @Colif , I just hit the 'update all' button, and now I have Norton antivirus on my PC (it's only going to be here for a few more seconds, but it's still annoying)
