Yeah, I find this much more interesting than Wordle—and I like Wordle fine too.
In Wordle, I never do any throwaway words, except the first one. That way it's possible to get it in the second try. But in Quordle, I'm finding that it's best to do some throwaway words to get the most used letters out there. It makes it easier to solve all of the words quicker. I came up with 3 words that get pretty much all of the most used letters out of the way.
Interesting. I use 2 start words and then look at what I've got—got to get 3 words in 3,4,5 to get sub 20.
I just guess when I have a rational chance at success. If I don't have that, then I try to put in a word with the most common letters that I haven't used to that point.
I need to give it more time, but my strategy of using those 3 words may not end up being the best way. I was able to pick off 3 of the words quickly because of that, but it still took me 9 for one of the words. I'm going to give it a few more tries to see how it averages out before I just ditch that tactic.
