Question for Ark

Sorry if this is not the correct place to post this but if you die in ark on PC and you have an animal in a cryopod, is there a possibility you could lose said animal?

Just to be sure, are you referring to ARK: Survival Evolved base game, without any expansions?

No, you don't lose the animal in the cryopod. I've got over 600 hours in Ark, by the way.
