So this is my first build ever and i just wanna make sure it's 100% good before i assemble it. So can anyone confirm this build will be fine? and is the crucial p3 sufficient as a ssd for video storage?

I wanted a good ssd for gaming (Sn850x) And the Crucial p3 for video and system

The difference, from a practical perspective, will be nil. Simplify your config and pick one.

Another option is a single 2TB SSD.

1TB is nowhere near enough for any significant amount of video storage, unless it's all low quality. High quality video is the biggest storage hog there is.

I recommend you do a little math. What's the average file size of video you will acquire each day or month or whatever? Multiply that by 365 or 12 or whatever.

That's the size of drive you'll need to hold a year's worth. Now multiply that by the number of years worth of video you want to store on one single drive. That's your minimum drive size to buy.

Tip: you don't need SSD to store rarely used data. A big 8TB or larger HDD will do just fine, and be a lot cheaper per TB.

He's also wanting this to be his system drive, so that's substantially less space given that so many things automatically go there like everything in your documents folder, your pictures, all your game saves, etc. He would be in an endless battle.

I have a 1tb nvme as windows drive but then I also have more space elsewhere.

MY C drive would be emptier still if I deleted Diablo 4.

1tb is plenty of space for windows drive. All of those files don't take that much space. But it does help to have more than one drive in that case.
My previous pc only had 250gb ssd for windows drive, but I never put anything else apart from applications onto that drive. For at least 25 years I have always had more than 1 drive in a PC, easier to recover from disasters if all your files on another drive.

You can then move the locations of those library folders to the other drives, saving space. My Onedrive folder is on my games drive.

The problem is not that 1 TB is too small for a system drive. The problem is that he wants that drive to be his video storage, too.

8tb is right, total unformatted space.

I don't really use Drive 2, I just haven't replaced it with a 4tb ssd yet (its a hdd).
