"I was looking at the IP list, I mean, let’s go!" Spencer said. "King’s Quest, Guitar Hero... I should know this but I think they got Hexen."

"We’re hoping that we’ll be able to work with them when the deal closes to make sure we have resources to work on franchises that I love from my childhood and that the teams really want to get,"

Activision/Blizzard own a ton of old IP's they apparently didn't know what to do with. Apparently Spencer knows what to do with them, though.

I never thought I'd feel l was lucky based on who the CEO of Xbox was, but Spencer is a gamer who seems to be making all the right moves. From putting all the Xbox games not just on Windows, but on Steam, to providing extra funding to hundreds of indie developers through Game Pass, Spencer is probably doing more for PC gaming, and gaming in general, than anyone on the planet.

Hopefully he's very happy at his job.

I was a big King's Quest fan. I don't know if Spencer realizes that we just got a big King's Quest reimagining a couple of years ago.

Hoping and planning are very different things - but we can always hope!

I'm conflicted about No One Lives Forever. It'd be nice if the game showed up on GOG - but honestly, I doubt I would play it again. They could do a re-make, but I'm dubious about how it will turn out when modernized.
