PC Gaming Show Tokyo Direct

I just started watching the second season of Kaiju No 8, in which the main character starts out working as a part of a Kaiju clean up crew. However, it seems like this game will be singleplayer only, which is a shame because it seems to me that it would work much better if you actually played as part of a crew.

This just reminds me that I still need to continue with the Outward campaign I started with my friend months ago. I did really enjoy it, but life happened and I kind of forgot about it.

I always like trying new roguelite deckbuilders, so I immediately wishlisted this on Steam.

Im glad to see these studios get some spotlight on their upcoming indie games but unfortunately nothing that was shown peaked my interest. It was a good presentation so PC Gamer did a good job there too.

Souls games looked like souls games, Dont Lie looks ok, but im not really into acid-tripping Asian horror games, just their manga and anime shows lol, and that was about it outside of KF3s trailer.

Killing Floor 3 somehow had a spot in this line-up and its for an update thats still not coming out for a couple of weeks. This update is...2 months too late imo. Tripwire shouldve either kept the game in EA or not have it released at all. Currently there are 380 people playing it which is roughly 10x less than Killing Floor 2 (3900). They really dropped the ball AFTER the game was released. Little progress over the last 2 months outside a couple of hotfixes that didnt really do much, not to mention there lack of communication with the community.

Ill probably check out the update but if you want to play a KF game, just stick with KF2.

Weirdly, a majority of those videos don't actually work for me, they're just black boxes. So I couldn't watch much, but I am surprised to see another Blood Remaster. I know Fresh Supply had some issues according to people more knowledgeable than I, but I didn't realize it warranted a whole new remaster.

Also saw the Mars tactics game. It seems intriguing, but maybe a little too cute for me and just looking at the actual gameplay, I don't think it would actually hold my attention for very long.

Huntsman attracted me after a quick review of some of these games. Maybe it caught my attention because of my love for horror survival games. It's good that PC Gamer did a comprehensive review on its YouTube channel, so I might watch it when I can.

Here, too. And when I tried to watch the Mars Tactics video, Edge turned it off almost immediately because 'there were too many advertisements.' I think it assumed every video was an advertisement!

Outward 2 looks interesting, but I never did get interested enough in Outward 1 to play it. Still, maybe there will be time for the series come retirement...
