Help PC Gamer and Yourself (avoiding certain AI written sites when doing a search)

Just as an example, all these sites that end in "rant", like screenrant for instance, are owned by the same company that bought Polygon, and they all use AI extensively to write stories. These sites, in my experience, often show up in the 1st spot in Google.

One problem with this is that they just make up stuff. So you might ask a question about a certain game, and you'll find information that sounds very believable, but isn't true. This can waste a lot of your time.

And, of course, it's nice to support human writers.

This article shows you how to give preference to sites like PC Gamer.

@Colif I bet that this is a direct response from Google to sites like screenrant and gamerant.

Have you ever noticed sites that search bait their article titles? For instance you search for something bizarre, like "mice on a Hawaiian roll" and you'll get search engine results like "Ten things you didn't know about mice on a Hawaiian roll"?

If you had a good LLM that could write satire, I think it would be fun to (transparently) get the LLM to generate outrageous and ridiculous articles based on search terms. You couldn't do subtle satire because LLMs aren't that good yet, and you would accidentally trick a lot of readers even if you labeled the article as satire.
