Hi everyone,

I’m looking to build a new PC mainly for 1440p gaming, with the primary goal being Battlefield 6.

Budget: around 10,000 PLN (willing to go with 0% installment plan if needed).

Current setup:
  • CPU: Intel Core i9-9900KF
  • GPU: ASUS GeForce RTX 3080 TUF GAMING OC 10GB GDDR6X
  • Motherboard: MSI Z370 Gaming M5
  • RAM: G.SKILL Ripjaws V DDR4, 16GB (2x8GB)
  • CPU Cooler: Noctua NH-D15
  • Storage: Plextor M5S 128GB + GoodRam Iridium Pro 240GB + Crucial MX500 1TB
  • PSU: Seasonic Focus GX 850W 80Plus Gold
  • Case: Fractal Design Meshify C
  • Monitor: Dell S2716DG @ 144Hz G-Sync
  • Sound Card: AIM SC808
  • Headset: AKG K702
  • Microphone: Novox NC-1
  • Mouse: Logitech G Pro Wireless @ 800 DPI + Corepad Skatez
  • Mousepad: ROCCAT® Taito Shiny Black XXL
  • Keyboard: Cougar Attack X3 Speedy RGB
I’d appreciate any advice on the best parts to get for my budget and goal. Should I keep any of my current components, or is it better to start completely from scratch?

Thanks in advance!

Reuse your case and cpu cooler. This board supports PCIe 5.0 for the gpu seeing how these new AMD and Nvidia cards support PCIe 5.0. ATX 3.1 psu for these RTX 50XX cards due to the power adapter

I need to buy new case because this one is little bit broken and need maybe more space in it. I thinking about keeping 3080 to wait on super cards. What about PSU and cooler worth keeping old one instead of new PSU and some AIO? What about Mobo B850 will be enough or X870? I’m thinking about getting 9800 instead of 7800.

Take a look at that graph I posted and ask yourself if the 9800x3D is worth the extra cost. 850W ATX 3.1 for the RTX 5070 Ti Super 24GB. If you want more PCIe lanes then look at a X670E or X870E chipset board.

If you want a AIO then look at either of these:

Then I should stick to 7800 if i only play games?
(It will be future proof? 2-3 years?)
Then I should keep PSU?
Stick to 3080 and wait for 5080 super?
This TUF mobo will be enough? In your first post?
I’d like to have hardware that I won’t need to worry about in terms of performance in a year or two.
If something is better left as it is, I’ll leave it.
For now i put out for sale: CPU, Mobo and RAM.

Keep the psu for now and get a ATX 3.1 psu when you purchase a Super Card. If purchasing the 5080 Super then you want a 1000W ATX 3.1. For gaming I would go with the 7800x3D and your Noctua cpu cooler.
