Hi,

I would love any help with putting a build together. I'll need to get a supplier to build it for me.

Why Are You Upgrading: My current PC is 7 years old. It has some frequent booting errors. It freezes sometimes running Medieval Dynasty and some of the USB ports are rusty.

It can take a long time to think about Unity usage – opening files, recompiling etc.

Current PC has 2x1TB SSD drives that are mostly full – so I’ll need more drive space.

Budget: Under $1,000 AUD would be great if I can achieve what I need at that price

Approximate Purchase Date: Weeks, not months

Use Case: I’m app programming in Unity, plus normal office use, and a mix of gaming (myself and kids). Current games are mostly Medieval Dynasty and Genshin Impact.

I’d like it to last 5+ years

Parts to Upgrade: New build – would possibly keep the current hard drives

Are you buying a monitor: No

Your Monitor Resolution and desired frame rate: N/A

Preferred Website(s) for Parts? Somewhere that will build it for me

Parts Preferences: None

Overclocking: Maybe

Additional Comments:

I’m way out of touch with current components and prices. When I bought my current PC I went by the system specs for No Man’s Sky which had only recently been released. (Game did not live up to expectations!)

Thanks so much,
Canley
