My budget is around £1,600. Can someone please pick the best gaming PC for me?

I've got a reasonable understanding of parts and what they do etc, but there are so many variants I just can't keep up with them all! My budget is about £1,600 but if there's a bargain and significant upgrade for £1,700, I can push it a bit further.

I've been looking at Scan, PCSpecialist, Overclockers and Cyberpower. I also have a Costco membership!

I play a lot of VR games, if that makes a difference. I seem to recall AMD cards weren't great for VR? Any help would be hugely appreciated! Thank you for your time

The only thing I can think of is that psu isn't a ATX 3.0 psu. I'll see if there's an alternative.

For some odd reason the psu changes to a CX650 which isn't a ATX 3.0 psu.

OK, all sorted, thank you! One last thing before I pull the trigger, do you know if I'll easily be able to open it up and install my current 1tb drive? It's not an SSD but it has loads of stuff on there I'd rather avoid having to transfer over.

I just read through this posting so i hope the op sees this.
I have had 3 pc from pc specialists and they are very good at what they do , the downside is that they use the company Drop Parcels Daily ..... so if the box or contents are damaged take some photos and talk to pc specialist straight away.

My games rig arrived with the brown tape ripped of the bottom ?????? of the box so the guy wheeled it upside down to my door , their was a big hole in the box and when i opened it the front fan housing on the coolermaster haf x tower was not on the case. I would like to know how that came off because it was so hard to refit that i thought i was going to break it.

my rig is really heavy and i had to slide it on the floor to where i wanted it because the DPD guy refused to help me.
