Question Monitor Connection Question

I've tried looking for answers online but not finding any. So I came here.

I'm getting a new PC and Monitor for Christmas with a 4060ti 16gb video card. That will connect through HDMI. It looks like the video card has 1 HDMI and 3 other ports. What are those other ports? I want to hook up a second monitor. Do I need something other than HDMI?

Those are called DisplayPorts. Many monitors/displays come with both HDMI and DP. HDTVs usually just HDMI.

Yes, you would need the appropriate cable/adapter to use.
