The previous versions of Call of Duty that I played, no one was on the microphone to talk to, not even in the sense of someone saying something "bad" that I could come up with a witty comeback to. It was just total radio silence no matter what day or time that I played. On the exceedingly rare occasion of an "exception" where someone actually had a mike, I tried to send them a friend request if they were acting like a "team" player, but none of them ever accepted it, and I'd go literally months without hearing a single voice on the other end.

I've been playing Helldivers 2 a lot lately. Great game if you can ignore a couple of small bugs.
