Question Lagging on notebook gaming

I have a gaming notebook, a lenovo y720, which has a GTX 1060 6GB, i7 7700HQ, 16GB ram, which in theory was supposed to run all games without much effort, so when playing games like Days Gone and Stray, I feel a great lag, that when I played on my old notebook with lower settings than the current one, the lag did not exist.

however I noticed something, that when playing on external monitors, the games run perfectly, being a problem only playing on the native screen of the notebook, does anyone know why this happens and how to solve it?

I have that configuration in desktop, and it doesn't even make minimum spec on some games these days.

Have you tried lowering the settings when playing on the current one?

That is odd. Hope your screen isn't going bad.

How long have you had the Y720?
Did you buy new from store?
