Just bought 5070 Ti / 9800x3d, wondering what now before the thing actually gets to me

I just bought a 5070 Ti / 9800x3d / 32 GB RAM / 2 TB NVME SSD, and it is my first PC desktop (I have a 3050M laptop but game mostly on my PS5) from Walmart. I would have built one, but this was literally cheaper than I could have built.

What should I watch out for and test before the 30-day return time is over? What are the main failures and red flags to look for?

What kind of uplift am I going to get vs the PS5?

With such a powerful CPU, this is a 1440p build if I'm correct in the latest AAA games, or should I push 4K?

Am I overlooking questions I should be asking? Thanks to anyone who responds.

2560 x 1440 resolution is what you want.

I just had the same system built. I don't think you'll have any problems with that CPU it seems to run at about 20% even in AAA games at 1440. What sort of cooling does it have.
Which version on the GPU did you get? You could check online for any particular issues with that brand.
You could use GPU-z to check everything is in order and run a benchmark test.
I'm not sure what you are concerned about but I'd just play your most demanding games as a test to see how it performs.
Enjoy:)
