Issue with HyperX Cloud 3 Wireless - Echo and Overly Bass-heavy Sound in CS2

Hi everyone,

I recently purchased the HyperX Cloud 3 Wireless headphones, replacing my old HyperX Stinger Core. While the Stinger Core provided clear and well-balanced sound, the new HyperX Cloud 3 seems to have some issues with the sound, especially in games like CS2.

Specifically, the gunshot sounds seem very echoey, almost as if I'm shooting in an empty room, and there's an overwhelming bass presence. This wasn't the case with my previous headphones, and I'm concerned that this might be a configuration or compatibility issue with the 7.1 surround sound feature.

Has anyone experienced similar issues with this model? If so, how did you manage to resolve it? Any suggestions on how to adjust the sound settings or fix the echo/bass problem would be greatly appreciated. I don't want to return the headset as I love HyperX products, but I'm hoping to improve the audio quality.

Thanks in advance for your help!

I don't have them but I see what I can find...

Have you updated the software? And firmware on headphones?

I do see others saying they not as good as old ones, but most people complain about a lack of bass, not too much - link

There is only one way for them not to suck, it took me a really long time to find the right setting. Go to the Microsoft app store and download "FX sound" and change the tune to gaming once installed. This gives it the huge improvement needed

Above is in relation to CSGO, so its possible the sound is same in CS2

Yes. I also tried turning DTS off and on. It's still the same. Actually, when I turn DTS off and on, nothing changes either. Maybe this could be part of the problem.
