Try looking at it from a different perspective. Ask yourself what games you want to play, get the recommend specifications and then check whether the PC could play them. To take the extremes if you wish to play solitaire then probably yes but if you want to play the very latest graphic intensive games possibly not.
By modern games, you mean things like fortnite or among us? Its a pretty outdated build but if you are playing at 1080p you can run more graphically intense games at roughly low to medium settings, depending on the exact game.
