Installed graphics card no signal??

Hi I am new to pc building. I have bought the zotac 3060ti. I have just installed it into the pc, the lights on all seems to be correct.

Now when I boot up the computer their is no signal to the screen.

I am missing something, do I need to use vga? I have the USB ready to I stall windows just no signal Is coming thew.

Installed the card while the system was powered of at the wall I hope?

Are the two PCI-E power cables plugged in both to the PSU and the card in the correct ports?

Is it installed to the highest PCI slot on the motherboard?

Is the Displayport or HDMI cable from the display plugged into the graphics card and not the motherboard output on the system?

I use gva on my gtx 1080 , to eliminate the possibility of bad connections , do the cards fans spin for a few seconds at boot up and shut down

Hi, I left the pc plugged in but switched off the power off t he back. I was advised to do this on YouTube, i held on to the case to remove static ect.

Yeah I have plugged in the 8 pin connector and seated the card in top pci slot (thier only one)

Yeas I tried the hdmi in both card and motherboard.

Everyone's done something similar I'm sure 🙂

Its always a good idea to reseat all cables and cards if somethings not working. Can be a bit of dust on a connection or cable not quite snug. Glad its working now 👍
