Question I don’t understand the post deactivation?

Hi,

This is *not* a criticism of the forums, the website or the magazine or its staff.

I posted what I thought was an innocuous response on the article regarding Mr Beast deactivating his AI thumbnail tool, specifically replying to someone who claimed that there was no such thing as an original idea, and my post came back as deactivated for being offensive? I don’t understand where I went wrong, so don’t know how I’d avoid it in future? The explainer didn’t give me any clarification so I don’t know how to make sure I am not censured in the future? Is there any advice or clarification?

This is what I wrote in my comment:

Student philosophy alert!

To say that there is no such thing as a truly original idea is silly. Such arrogance in concluding that every single possible original idea has already been formed by humanity, is only matched by its naivety.

Thanks

Hi, the comment sections on articles have basically no crossover with here. The mods here are different and we dont have any idea or influence over what each other are doing.

The best thing for you to do is to email commentmoderation@futurenet.com with your user name from the comments section and tell them about the issue.
