How should I position my monitor to help with my posture?

Hey all!

Lately, I have been having all sorts of issues with my back and I quickly realized that my poor posture is certainly not helping. In addition to getting a new chair to help, I was wondering if anyone had any tips on how I could / should be positioning my monitor that may help with my posture? Any tips or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Since you mentioned you have issues with your back, there might be particular adjustments that only a professional could and should advise you on. The best advice I could possibly give you is to take a quick phone call to someone who deals with ergonomics on a daily basis, preferably helping patients with similar problems that you mentioned. Other than that I would recommend you to have your monitor high enough up so your eyes are more or less centered on the screen. You do not want to have to tilt your head too much up and down.
