Links can be shared, but generally it's better to be part of ongoing discussions first. Once you get to know the community, if you have a relevant link to share, you'll have learned how to share it, just from your experiences as a member of the crew.

If you just want to share a link to a trailer for an upcoming game, or to promote a specific company, probably hold off and focus on the stuff above.
